Gilmore Girls was one of my favorite shows. The characters were loveable, unique, charming, and quick-witted, the plot lines were engaging, and the dialogue was dizzyingly fast-paced. Who wouldn't want to live in Stars Hollow and drink a surprisingly good coffee at Luke's?
But one other characteristic, however unimportant, is that the characters' names included cool, classic, and trendy qualities. Lorelai (and the alternate spelling Lorelei) alone sparked a resurgence in the world of baby names. They may not have all been trend-setting, but the characters include a mix of classic and contemporary names that have our hearts swooning.
